Day 6…SOMEONE WHO FASCINATES ME AND WHY?

OH, WHY do I have to answer this question? I mean WHO fascinates me? I'm wracking my brain trying to figure this out…I mean, I admire a ton of people, a whole shitload of people. But FASCINATE is a pretty big word, deserving of something-something special.

And, I'm not cheating here by putting down my HUBS! He's not FASCINATING! He's freakin' PHENOMENAL! I mean, no one can compare to him. And, I hit the hubby jackpot when I landed him.

So…FASCINATE…I guess…hmmm…I'm going to go with Helen Keller.

(June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deafblind person to earn a bachelor of arts degree.^[2][3] The story of how Keller's teacher, Anne Sullivan, broke through the isolation imposed by a near complete lack of language, allowing the girl to blossom as she learned to communicate, has become widely known through the dramatic depictions of the play and film

I mean, blind, deaf, and dumb. Yet, she learned to freakin' COMMUNICATE with the world and tell her life story! OMG…absolutely fascinating.

OH, and Stephen Hawking…another brilliant mind trapped inside a shattered body. OMFG, his brains are beyond enormous and I admire him greatly.

 English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge.^[16][17] His scientific works include a collaboration with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity, and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. Hawking was the first to set forth a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He is a vigorous supporter of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.^[18][19]

 

Yeah, so I guess there are TWO people who fascinate me…
