Day 6…SOMEONE WHO FASCINATES ME AND WHY?
OH, WHY do I have to answer this question? I mean WHO fascinates me? I'm wracking my brain trying to figure this out…I mean, I admire a ton of people, a whole shitload of people. But FASCINATE is a pretty big word, deserving of something-something special.
And, I'm not cheating here by putting down my HUBS! He's not FASCINATING! He's freakin' PHENOMENAL! I mean, no one can compare to him. And, I hit the hubby jackpot when I landed him.
So…FASCINATE…I guess…hmmm…I'm going to go with Helen Keller.
(June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deafblind person to earn a bachelor of arts degree.[2][3] The story of how Keller's teacher, Anne Sullivan, broke through the isolation imposed by a near complete lack of language, allowing the girl to blossom as she learned to communicate, has become widely known through the dramatic depictions of the play and film
I mean, blind, deaf, and dumb. Yet, she learned to freakin' COMMUNICATE with the world and tell her life story! OMG…absolutely fascinating.
OH, and Stephen Hawking…another brilliant mind trapped inside a shattered body. OMFG, his brains are beyond enormous and I admire him greatly.
Yeah, so I guess there are TWO people who fascinate me…
